Alvarez is also the founder of Boxcar Media, LLC, which owns and operates Raceway Media, LLC. Alvarez brings a history of successful entrepreneurship to Raceway Media, LLC. In 1992 he founded PRG, Inc., an aggregator of market research reports. PRG, Inc. was sold to a venture capital firm in 2000 and Alvarez became chairman of the board of the newly renamed Mindbranch, Inc., which was then merged with MarketResearch.com. In 1997 Alvarez co-founded Pioneer Consulting, LLC, and in 2001 he co-founded Broken Record Art Group.
