Burnham Boilers Chevrolet To Appear At World Of Wheels In Boston
Boston, MA (December 27, 2004): The No. 55 Burnham Boilers Chevrolet driven by eight-time NASCAR Champion Mike Stefanik will be on display January 7-9th at the World of Wheels Auto Show held at the Bayside Expo Center. Stefanik’s machine will be hosted by New Hampshire International Speedway.
“We’re very fortunate to be included in the NHIS track display at the World of Wheels,” said car owner Steve Griswold. “What I particularly enjoy about this show is the chance to lure new fans to our team and the series. The World of Wheels attracts all kinds of automotive enthusiasts – not just race fans – and gives us a chance to promote Burnham Boilers on a entirely different level.”
Mike Stefanik has long been the pride of New England. His aggressive, take-no-prisoners driving style has won the Coventry, RI-native an amazing eight NASCAR titles. He joins a very short list of drivers – Richard Petty, the late Dale Earnhardt, and Stefanik’s career icon Richie Evens -- that have achieved that feat. He’s the only driver since Lee Petty did it in the 1950’s and the only driver in the modern-era to achieve dual championships in two NASCAR divisions within the same year. And Stefanik didn’t do it once, he did it back-to-back in 1997 and 1998. Mike Stefanik is the driver to beat. His No. 55 Burnham Boilers Chevrolet has become an icon to race fans everywhere.
The World of Wheels opens its doors on Friday, January 11th at 5 p.m. with a $14.00 entrance fee for adults, $5.00 for children 6-12, and free for children five and under. The show will run all weekend long before closing at 9 p.m. Sunday, January 9th.
