THOMPSON, Conn. – Inclement weather which arrived during the late afternoon and lingered into the evening at Thompson International Speedway postponed Sunday’s scheduled New England Dodge Dealers Twin 100 for the NASCAR Grand National Division, Busch North Series along with the accompanying NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event. A rescheduled date for the doubleheader will be announced in the near future.

A field of 34 Busch North Series cars, the largest to appear at a short track in three seasons, completed two practice sessions before the weather shut activities down. The field was not set, so a full program including Busch Pole Qualifying will be presented on the rescheduled date.

The Busch North Series’ next event is the Aubuchon Hardware 150 at Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, Conn. next Friday night, June 17.
